Bread Crumbs do a poem make

We Write Poems:
It’s late, it’s dark, the forest is deep and we’ve lost our way! How do we find our poem way home? That’s just one fanciful way to introduce out poetic prompt for this week brought to us by Pamela Sayers. She writes…

Accumulate a minimum of twelve words, and write little snapshots of time, memory etc… two line “poemlets”. This was Pamela’s response to a wordle when she felt lost and “stumped by the words”. Make your own bread crumbs for this prompt, your own selection of words, chosen by whatever means you wish (although please tell us how you made your bowl of words). Please read Pamela’s original prompt suggestion and her example poem applying this prompt. Each small poemlet can stand alone or perhaps they will relate together at some level, as however you wish.

Thank you Pamela for this fine “little” prompt in our forest of words!

Come back next Wednesday when you see,It’s Post Your Poems Day!” and leave a link to the poem on your blog. If you don’t have a blog, then please, post your poem in the comment itself.    ***    You are invited to respond to the prompt given here, but if you have something else you’re just itching to share, please feel welcome in doing that. Our first desire here is to encourage you to write and learn and share.    ***    When leaving comments to other’s poems, please be appreciative and encouraging. We are not a poem “critique” site (unless someone specifically asks for that). Be kind with each other (and yourself!).    ***    Please consider including a link with your blog poem back to the prompt response here at We Write Poems so that others may see and join our community. More participants do make better soup!
