prompt 162 Sky dream

June 19, 2013

The journey has changed your protagonist. Time to get a little… spiritual. What underlying system of beliefs does he/she end up with? Is he/she in the same or a different place? Perhaps the change had permeated to the exterior. Perhaps not. What happened was a shift in consciousness. An awakening to the birds in the woods. In such a state, music rises to a crescendo. Call it hope. Call it a sky dream. Define a sky dream in words. Think of healing words. If words have power (and they do), write a mystical poem with incantatory power.

Your protagonist is almost at journey’s end. This is the ninth poem in the series you are working on. If you’re not writing a series, you may write to this prompt as if it’s a stand alone prompt. The choice is yours.
Please link your poem to this post once it’s written. You have all week to write. Next Thursday, we’ll see you for a new prompt. If you are writing a series, then the idea is that the protagonist will somehow tie all your poems together so there’s a kind of storyline going on. You have one more instalment to round off the story of your protagonist. Please come back next week for the final prompt.

OK really the better visual is here:

And it still is a bit off as to how it looks in my documents.

For those who prefer the WP, which is a sad copy…without italics because it was grief enough to get the spacing half way decent…

It looks so much nicer in my document folder, spaceing nice and straight, Italics every other verse… It is what it is.

A goofy one that has basically nothing to do with protagonists… ^_^: Cumulonimbus

I missed the others – in fact this is the first WWP notice I have received for a long time but I have been busy anyway.

Late to the series, but jumping in now (thanks): a journey, of sorts

Only one more to go, I am having some problems on how to end this on a good note. I will be round this week to read others.
