Prompt #147, It’s Post Your Poems Day!

March 20, 2013

Epiphanies bonfire!
Cento epiphanies on parade
We Write Poems:

Feeling toasty beside the bonfire? Having a few epiphanies roasting in the fire? This week we suggested a choice of prompt variations.

Collect and assemble a collection of other poets epiphany moments, then play with those lines to make a cento poem as you saw fit. OR, choose just one line from another writer (maybe even one of us!) and spin off a poetic response with your own words instead. Here’s the original prompt if you wish to review.

little pencilPlease now, share your poem with us.  Leave a link to your poem in a comment below.  Leave the poem itself if you don’t have a blog.  If you have questions about We Write Poems and our prompt-and-poem process, or you’re new here at WWP, please read our about page.

The full prompt description you can also find under “Recent Posts” on the top right of our page.

I’m not thrilled with this, but it is a cento, and it almost makes sense.
