The April Heights prompt “Harbor” produced this fruit:

    “Harbor No Ill Will”

    “Harbor Disappeared”

    “Six Takes on ‘Harbor’”

Pick one (or all), and savor!

This was a prompt from the NaPoWriMo blog, a poem inspired by the song that was #1 on the day of your birth…

EJ, blogger wouldn’t let me comment on your post, but how awesome to have that as your birthday song!

Oh no, was there an error? I have comments wide open with no prior approval needed before they appear on the page. I’m sorry :/ And thank you for stopping by to read! 🙂

A kid’s poem for day three at my pad…

  4. April 3, 2012 4:54 am

I wrote this in response to the Poetic Asides prompt from Monday (visitor)…but it is for my NaPoWriMo Day 3. (By mistake just a minute ago I stuck it in with NaPoWriMo Day 2..sigh…too quick on the draw.)

I got confused too, Mary, thinking it’s day 2. I see we’re both writing to day 2 PA prompt. I’ll always lag because of the time difference.

Here’s my piece inspired by the NaPoWriMo day 3 prompt…

Hmm, I might have to borrow that Flaubert quote a bit later…

One of today’s: Before Departing, for a prompt from Donna Vorreyer.

Love what you did with Flaubert’s quote. I’m gonna be watching out for tomorrow’s quote.

  13. April 3, 2012 2:16 pm

I am not sure, but it seems I have combined prompts from all over the place with this one… I love the quote by the way, as some of you might remember “Flaubert” was my nick at blogspot, (only because of my lovely Maltese). Looking forward to leisurely reading this afternoon. 🙂

Still too tired to read. Maybe tomorrow. It’s hard to do this while working full time.
