Prompt #85 Rinse, repeat – windows revisited

Rinse, repeat – windows revisited

We Write Poems:
What a wonderful range of responses to our “Window faces” prompt! Thus inspired, what follows today…

It is the poet’s fare to observe and perhaps see what is often less commonly seen, suggesting new experience and understanding of our shared lives together.  And actually this includes ourselves as well.  So this week (and something we’ve never asked of you before), rinse, clear away what you’ve already seen and described this week.  Look again, find another possibility for a new poem now.

This may at your choice mean both finding something new to see, and second, writing a poem in another style or form from your first.  Usually prompts move from concept to concept, wanting to be different each time around, but we seriously invite you to dig differently and deeper into your poem-bowl.  There is more than only one story in what we observe.
So, take a nap, splash some water on your face; what poetic points of view have you not yet examined for this image?

Come back next Wednesday when you see,It’s Post Your Poems Day!” and leave a link to the poem on your blog. If you don’t have a blog, then please, post your poem in the comment itself. *** You are invited to respond to the prompt given here, but if you have something else you’re just itching to share, please feel welcome in doing that. Our first desire here is to encourage you to write and learn and share. *** When leaving comments to other’s poems, please be appreciative and encouraging. We are not a poem “critique” site (unless someone specifically asks for that). Be kind with each other (and yourself!). *** Please consider including a link with your blog poem back to the prompt response here at We Write Poems so that others may see and join our community. More participants do make better soup!
