Prompt #55, It’s Post Your Poems Day!

May 25, 2011

Everything, and how it began!

We Write Poems:
Write a poem about how the universe began!, that’s the soil into which we asked you to plant your seed this week. Tell us that “science” as you see and understand, your perspective on this alchemy we all share. Pass the spoon for a taste, campfire’s burning bright, now’s the time for your poetic dissertation be it literal or whimsical. Share your poems please!

Don’t have a poem yet? Perhaps read a few done by others here, be inspired. There’s still plenty of time to discover a poem for yourself!

Leave the links to your poems in the comments of this post, then go visit your fellow writers’ sites and read their work. Remember to leave only positive comments in the spirit of sharing and not critiquing. We look forward to reading your poems!

Please remember to include a link with your blog poem post that links right back to here, this “Post Your Poems Day”, so that others reading your poem can also share in this community poem experience – maybe even someone new to We Write Poems!

If you are new to WWP, please be welcome to look around and read. The full prompt description you can find under “Recent Posts” on the top right of our page.

I ate something that disagreed with me last night so I waxed metaphysical although it is written using a certain sect philosophical thought . Can you reason which it is?

    No beginning, no ending

And then there is Gaea. She would be upset if I did not include her.

When will you remember our Mother

Enjoyed the prompt, and I’m looking forward to having some questions answered when I read, because I tried twice and couldn’t step over into myth-building either time

I have no idea how the universe began, but I’m hoping wine was involved. 🙂 Today’s National Wine Day and I celebrated with an acrostic limerick.
