Prompt #33, It’s Post Your Poems Day!

December 22, 2010
tags:

Say what you want…

What means did you find to express your “wants”? What part of your life came forth to speak? How might your “wants” define your view of the world? Did you see something yet waiting for you to learn or have? Or do your “wants” include some desire to give away who you are, perhaps here in your personal expression. They are perhaps all gifts in one manner or another. Be it a literal list or something more dream-like in quality, we now are eager to read your result.
I want…

Don’t have a poem yet? Perhaps read a few done by others here, be inspired. There’s still plenty of time to discover a poem for yourself!

Leave the links to your poems in the comments of this post, then go visit your fellow writers’ sites and read their work. Remember to leave only positive comments in the spirit of sharing and not critiquing. We look forward to reading your poems!

          **********

Please remember to include a link with your blog poem post that links right back to here, this “Post Your Poems Day”, so that others reading your poem can also share in this community poem experience – maybe even someone new to We Write Poems!

If you are new to WWP, please be welcome to look around and read. The full prompt description you can find under “Recent Posts” on the top right of our page.

What we want changes: as soon as I’d written my poem – http://vivinfrance.wordpress.com/2010/12/17/what-i-want-for-we-write-poems/ – for this prompt, I decided I wanted summer!

After a semester long poetry hiatus….I’m back! A friend recently died, some of you may have recently read my Mad Hatter poem…. David/Dave in this piece is one and the same person as the Mad Hatter. I imagine he’ll pop in my work for some time.
