Prompt #17: It’s Post Your Poems Day!

September 1, 2010

How well did you Wordle? Was it interesting to have your words mixed up and displayed back to you in a cluster, easy to see which words you use most often? Were there any surprises? Did the poem you wrote differ in any stand-out ways from the usual poems you write? Leave the links to your poems in the comments of this post, then go visit your fellow writers’ sites and read their work. Remember to leave only positive comments in the spirit of sharing and not critiquing. I look forward to reading!

And just for fun, here is a wordle of the text of this post:

I used most of the words — sort of, in a found-poemish way.
really interesting process, nicole: thanks! I may try this again with those old things I don’t like anymore. :)

I enjoyed playing with this wordle maker. Here is my poem, called Summer Wind and posted Friday, Aug. 27. I could not get the wordle itself posted on my blog for some reason. But oh well.
